Hi, I'm Vinh! I am a PhD student at the Integrated Fabrication Laboratory in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington, advised by Professor Corie L. Cobb.
My research lies at the intersection of computer-aided design, advanced manufacturing, and engineered materials to explore new paradigms for multi-material, multi-process additive manufacturing processes. I am interested in how these new paradigms will unlock functional and creative possiblities in device design. My current work includes building extensible hardware and software systems for automated multi-process fabrication and developing new functional materials for Lithium-ion battery manufacturing. My goal is to leverage these systems and materials to enable on-demand fabrication of adaptive, multi-functional devices with integrated energy storage for applications ranging from wearables to micro-robotics.
Feel free to explore more about my work and get in touch!
